Who we are and what this policy covers
Flockjay, Inc. operates this Website and is responsible for the personal information collected through it. You can contact us at legal@flockjay.si or at 34 E 20th St #3, New York, NY 10003, United States.
This policy covers visitors to this Website and people who submit its demo request form or contact us about it. It does not describe data processing inside a separately contracted customer workspace or on third-party websites.
Information you provide
When you use the Book Demo form, we receive and store the information listed below. A successful submission is saved in our database; closing the form or your browser does not delete that record.
If you email us, your correspondence may also include your email address, message, and other information you choose to send. Please do not include passwords, payment card details, sensitive personal information, or confidential customer records.
- Your full name, work email address, and company name, which are required by the demo request form.
- Your message about what you would like to explore, if you choose to provide one.
- A request identifier and submission timestamp, used to record the request and prevent duplicate saves when a submission is retried.
Technical information and local examples
The Website server records limited operational information, such as the requested route, request method, response status, request identifier, and response timing. Our hosting and resource providers may also receive connection information, such as IP address, browser information, and request timestamps, to deliver and protect their services.
The search, learning, library, and coaching illustrations use local content. Interacting with them does not connect a customer account, submit a prompt to a live AI service, or save those interactions as demo requests. The Book Demo form is a separate submission flow.
This public Website does not offer account registration, take payment card information, or process purchases. A separately contracted product may have different data practices and notices.
How and why we use information
We use information for the purposes below. Submitting a demo request does not enroll you in an unrelated marketing list or create an automatic calendar booking.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, the relevant basis may be our legitimate interests in operating a business website and responding to inquiries, steps you request before entering a contract, or compliance with a legal obligation. Where consent is required, it must be obtained for the relevant activity and may be withdrawn.
- Receive, maintain, and respond to demo requests and other inquiries about Flockjay.
- Operate the Website, troubleshoot errors, prevent duplicate submissions, and protect against misuse.
- Maintain appropriate business records and address legal, security, or dispute-related obligations.
- Respond to privacy requests and communications sent to our legal contact.
Service providers and external links
The following services are used by the current Website. They process information needed for their role, and their own notices explain their broader practices.
- Replit — provides Website hosting and database infrastructure. Demo request information is stored using this infrastructure, and technical request information is processed to run and support the Website.
- Google Fonts — supplies the Website’s fonts. Your browser requests font resources from Google, which may receive technical connection information, including your IP address and browser headers. The demo form is not integrated with Google Fonts.
- LinkedIn and X — are external profile links, not embedded feeds or sign-in services. If you follow a link, the destination service receives your visit and applies its own privacy policy.
- Other services mentioned in the integration directory are illustrative references. Listing them does not connect your accounts or send your demo request to those services.
How long information is kept
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to handle your inquiry, maintain relevant business records, meet legal obligations, and address disputes or security issues. The appropriate period depends on the purpose and nature of the information and applicable requirements, rather than a single period for every record.
Demo requests are stored in our database. The Website does not provide a self-service account or deletion dashboard. To ask about retention or request deletion, contact legal@flockjay.si so the request can be reviewed and handled.
Information may need to be retained where the law requires or permits it. Deletion from active records may not immediately remove copies held in backups or technical logs that are subject to separate retention processes.
Storage, security, and international processing
We use hosting and database services to store submissions and operate the Website. The Website does not make submitted contact details publicly searchable or readable. However, no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Our infrastructure and external resource providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate. Those countries may have different data protection rules from your country. This policy does not promise storage in a particular region.
Where applicable law requires protections for an international transfer, those requirements continue to apply. Contact us if you need information about the handling of your information or applicable transfer arrangements.
Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have some or all of the rights listed below. Contact legal@flockjay.si to make a request or ask about your choices. Please identify the request and the email address you used without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority before acting. Applicable exceptions and legal retention requirements may affect a request. We will address requests within the period required by applicable law and explain a denial where required.
Where available, you may appeal a decision by contacting the same email address and indicating that you are requesting an appeal. You may also complain to a relevant data protection authority. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
- Ask whether we hold information about you and request access to a copy.
- Request correction or deletion of your information, subject to applicable exceptions.
- Request portability, restriction of processing, or object to processing where those rights apply.
- Withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent, without affecting processing already lawfully carried out.
Children’s information
The Website is designed for business professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the demo form. Where applicable law imposes a higher age-related protection, that protection also applies.
If you believe a child has submitted information, contact legal@flockjay.si so we can review the situation and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Website, its data practices, or applicable requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and change the date shown on the page. Additional notice or consent will be provided where required by applicable law.
